Telling our stories effectively matters.
The words behind our brands weave together our legacies, in some ways.
Your website copy shouldn’t just be a jumble of SEO keywords and a regurgitated version of what your competitors are saying. It should be a unique combination of your expertise, your one-of-a-kind voice, your personality, and carefully strategized stories that call your clients to action and encourage them to hang around for a while.
Your copy should leave your dream clients feeling like you’re the perfect match for their needs. It should speak directly to their heart, their desires, and their goals. And it should educate, inspire, entertain, or elaborate, grabbing their attention and keeping them coming back for more—turning to you as their confidante, leader, and friend.
But what about those of us who “just aren’t writers”? How can we write effective, captivating copy that keeps potential clients engaged and wanting to click “purchase” on our goods?
That’s where I come in…
I’m Audrey, & writing digital content (that converts) is my happy place.
I grew up knowing I wanted to be a writer one day. Honestly, I pictured myself writing books in a cozy cabin somewhere in the mountains, with my hair piled on top of my head and glasses sliding down my nose, a mug of coffee getting cold as I typed away.
While that dream is still on the horizon, I fell in love with digital copywriting for female-owned, service-driven small businesses along the way.
I’ve adored journaling ever since I could hold a pencil, but it wasn’t just my stories I was interested in capturing. In college, I chose to major in journalism because hearing the stories of battles and blessings people walked through, and turning those into consumable, interesting pieces, was sort of like this sweet magic to me.
And it lit me up, getting to be the person to weave together those multifaceted tales in a way that touched anyone who read them. I worked in marketing and magazines for a few years after college, before branching out to start my own thing, working one on one with female entrepreneurs who just simply don’t have the bandwidth or desire to craft their own digital content that meets their clients where they’re at.
When I’m not writing newsletters, sales funnels, blog content, or launch copy, you can find me with my husband and our Texas heeler, Piper, exploring our new home in Sonoma County. I love to cook, garden, take Peloton classes, read, and watch anything on Bravo. And I’ll never turn down a crisp glass of dry rosé. Let’s be friends, yes?!
Here’s what a few of my clients have to say about working together!
