Why I Quit Training for A Marathon

Excellent decision. We start projects sometimes with an internal goal that is not really a match to the visible product of that project. I had a similar experience with my own marathon training. The training process helped me realize that I just need to make time for movement, but that I don’t need random difficult expensive challenges when those seem to happen to me all on their own in other aspects of life. I see this is 4 years after you wrote it. It was nice to see a kindred spirit write about this experience.
